Fees
Sessions are charged at $220 for 55 minutes for individual counselling. If you are a low income earner (eg full time student, pensioner) please let me know and we can discuss a reduced fee of $190. Cash and cards are accepted. Medicare Rebates Prior to your appointment you can request a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) and referral letter from your General Practitioner to see me. The Medicare rebate can be accessed for a total of 10 sessions per calendar year, sessions beyond that can be privately funded until the next calendar year begins. The MHCP initially provides 6 sessions, and then a request can be made to your GP for a further 4 sessions. I can accept a referral letter addressed to another psychologist, providing that there are sessions left on that referral. The referral can be used for telehealth or face to face sessions. The Medicare rebate amount is $96.65 per session meaning that the gap payment will be $123.35. |
NDIS
I provide service for Self Managed and Plan Managed NDIS participants and the fee adheres to the rate set by the NDIS. At this time I am not able to provide services for NDIS Managed participants. I will request a copy of your NDIS Plan prior to the first appointment as the goals contained in the plan will help to guide the therapy. Self-Referrals Clients who do not wish to access the Medicare rebate are able to self-refer. Private Health Insurance Rebate If your policy allows, you may be able to access a rebate from your private health insurance. You are only able to claim one rebate per session, either through Medicare or private health insurance. |
